The Rathskeller
Capacity: 60 (Cocktail seating only)
Tucked beneath Duluth’s original 1889 City Hall, The Rathskeller once served as a holding cell and coal furnace room—and is rumored to have been a Prohibition-era speakeasy. Today, it's one of Minnesota’s top whiskey bars, offering craft cocktails, smoked whiskey, Fitger’s Brewhouse beer, and wine.
With natural bluestone walls, a full bar, PA system, and projector, it’s an unforgettable space for private events up to 60 guests—from parties to corporate gatherings. Catering from Fitger’s Brewhouse adds the perfect touch.

Fitger’s Barrel Room

Located in the historic Fitger’s Brewery Complex on the shores of Lake Superior, just steps from Fitger’s Brewhouse, The Barrel Room blends brewing history with cozy beerhaus charm. With original bluestone walls and a laid-back vibe, it’s perfect for gatherings focused on good beer, hearty food, and great company.
Whether it’s a family celebration, business meeting, holiday party, or game day with friends, we offer award-winning Brewhouse beer, full bar service, and flexible catering options for any occasion.
Portable bluetooth sound system and microphone are available for $50 and complimentary use of the TV in the room.
